I'm Erin. I started this blog in 2011 after watching the movie Social Network. Weird, I know. I think originally I was hoping to make it as the female Mark Zuckerberg of the blogging world. As I write this we are nearing the end of 2013, and most of the time I can't believe I have kept up with my blogging. The fact is, I really enjoy it. I think it's a really great way to look back and see what you were doing a year or two ago. Over the past three years I have also developed a love of reading blogs...blogging is almost like a little community.
Since the creation of my dear blog I have focused in on writing about recipes, become engaged - then married, bought a house, and turned the big three-oh. In addition to writing this blog I am an Elementary School Counselor in Northern Virginia. I moved to N. Virginia for my first ever real job in 2008 after a rough two year stint at William and Mary. I continue to love all things Pittsburgh and Penn State. I am currently busying myself by training for my first half marathon. I love my family and my friends the most. Then I guess food, cooking, and travel would be behind those.
My blog is an ever-evolving depiction of what life is currently like for the Flaherty-Keough's. I am big on cooking and post recipes that I really think anyone can make. I know it takes time, but with a little planning and dedication anyone can cook! I promise.
