Reading Suggestions, Please!

Summer is coming! Some days I actually believe this statement to be false, but looking at the calendar June 17th is in fact on it's way. Hallelujah! What I need from you (yes, you who reads my blog without being a legit follower) is some reading suggestions. I am currently finishing a series I have been working on since about Christmas (with some randoms in between), but I will need some good reads for the summer. Just to give you an idea of what I like...my favorite author ever is Jodi Picoult, hands down, no contest. I have read every book, though, and anxiously wait for March every year to read her new book the day it comes out. This said, I will still read most anything with a good story line. It can be a kid's book too...novel, not so much pictures :) So, please, please leave some comments with good books to read. Thanks friends!

    The House at Riverton. Also, my book club is reading Save Me this month. You should read it and come :)

    Hunger Games trilogy? Ha, I have a small YA library if you want me to bring some to work for you :) You just have to be cool with reading books that 12 year-olds are reading, too ;)

    You may want to take a look at the works of Jeff and Michael Shaara dealing with history of the U.S. or James Herriot an English veterinarian talking about his practice. Was made into a TV series on BBC. Take a look at Larry McMurty, he has a pretty wide range of writing. Enjoy your summer.

    I don't know what kinds of genre you like, but the girl with the dragon tattoo trilogy is really good. also agree with the hunger games trilogy, and i'm getting into the A Song of Ice & Fire series (which is currently airing as a miniseries on HBO for the first book - Game Of Thrones).
    Percy Jackson is a good read - all five books were fun, and the next book in the series The Lost Hero is good. And the Kane Chronicles by the same author has 2 books too.

    Hey, one of my favorite new books I read a little over a year ago is called, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, which is awesome. You should definitely read it.
